Blessing of the Backpacks

Bring your school backpacks to worship at our one, combined worship service,
Sunday, September 2
for a special Blessing of the Backpacks for the new school year.
Kids 3rd grade and younger will begin in worship with their families and we'll bless their backpacks, leave after the Passing of the Peace for one last Beach Blast Sunday, and return for communion. (They can leave their backpacks in the sanctuary...)
All ages of students are welcome to bring in their backpacks or schoolbags for blessing!
